This product is used to form the vacuum bag in all types of composite mould. The most commonly used material is nylon film due to its excellent physical properties such as high temperature resistance, toughness, good flexibility, high elongation and very less permeability etc. It can also be used for high temperature application if some more polymers are added. A range of film options are also available based on the various need like temperature and other physical parameters. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Maximum Use Temperature 190°c Colour - Green (customized colour also available) Elongation:- 375% Flammability self extinguishing melts Crystalline Melting Point 218°C - 220°C CRYSTALLINE MELTING POINT Normally color is green, heat stabilized and material is nylon. It has excellent elongation and heat ageing characteristics capable of performing under high pressure and temperature of up to 190°c for several hours. A Caprolactam level of less than 1% makes it an ideal choice for most vacuum bagging applications. Crystalline Melt Point 218° - 220°c AVAILABILITY& PACKAGING Thickness (nominal) >= 50 Micron Pack Size (nominal) 45kg or customized as per specifications A wide range of width in tube and sheet are available up to 2 mts. in tubular form or 4 mts. lay flat form. Customized sizes also available. The roll is wrapped In polyethylene and covered with hard card board case for protecting it from piercing or damaging from the pointed or sharp hard material. STORAGE & HANDLING No special storage condition required.
